Is Troy Smith a lock, or do the other QBs have any shot?

I don't think he is a lock at all. In fact, I wouldn't be shocked to see it go to Quinn or the QB from Hawaii. Even though Smith is a lock for a Heisman, I bet they end up giving this award to someone else.

A lot of times with this award the player who is nominated or wins the heisman doesn't sweep all of the awards and I assume Smith will win the Walter Camp P.O.Y so Im saying he might now win this one although is should definately be all his

Smith should get it. If Quinn wins one award then it's a joke.

They like to spread some of the awards around, so I wouldn't be surprised for another QB to win it. I remember in 2004 when Lienart won the Heisman and I think it was Jason White who took home the Davy O'brein.

Nah... They'll throw Colt Brenann a bone for the Playstation numbers he put up... I mean he's gonna break a 14 year old NCAA record and set a quite a few others... I dont care that's its in Hawaiis offense he still had to make the plays for it to happen.. Any chance he's a forst rounder next year?

I would say around the third or fourth round but who knows. His numbers were sick though no matter what kind of system he played in.

I think it's Brennan's award. His stats are very good. I saw them a little while ago and it looked like he had a higher completion percentage while maintaining higher yards per attempt numbers.

Tends to be more stats based than anything, so I think that Brennan will win it.

My vote is for Colt Brennan!

Troy will has won the Heisman and will probably win the Walter Camp and Maxwell awards too!

They will "spread the aloha" and give it to someone else and I'm PULLING HARD for COLT BRENNAN!

BQ will win this award.

I think Quinn gets shut out this year. I think that Brennan gets the Manning Award.

We've seen these numbers before from a college QB not once but many times. I can only think of a couple that panned out at the next level. So there is a good chance that the NFL big wigs will shy away.
I think Colt= Neil Lomax.

I dont think Smith will win it because as I have seen in the past the quarterback with the best stats usually won it. Personally I think Brennan will win it and pray Quinn gets no awards but with him being the golden boy he will win something. The Heisman on the other hand is Troy's!

Troy obviously should win every award he is up for, because he played that much better than everyone else. Quinn? Brennan? Are you kidding me? These guys are not comparable to the way Smith played this year, especially given the Bucks schedule compared to those of Notre Dame and Hawaii.

I doubt Troy will win though, because they will want to give the awards to someone else. Of course it will be total BS too. I see Smith taking home the Heisman and Walter Camp POY awards.

Hmmmm are you sure Troy Smith played much better defenses than Brennan did? I cant argue that OSU did not play better teams than Hawaii did, but I dont think OSU played many top notch defenses, did he? Maybe I missed something.

I think colt should win this award...he is like the Garrett Wolfe of quarterbacks, he might play teams that arent that great but he puts up astounding numbers....

He is an awsome quarterback "stuck" at a WAC school.

In all honesty, I could care less about anything at this point except the Heisman for Troy and the title for the Buckeyes. At the beginning of the season, I could've cared less about the Heisman Trophy, but now seeing how it is definitely Troy's I would be royally pissed if they gave it to someone else.

Yep, I think the voting for this one goes Brennan, Troy, BQ.

the problem is ALL these awards have become a joke, after last year NOTHING would surprise me

After the "wonderful" season Colorado had how's that transfer lookin for Colt?

I hope Colt wins a award... One less that Brady has a chance at...

How many D-I schools would love to have Colt coming back next year...?
