View Full Version : If you had a Heisman vote gleszekod 12-01-2006, 05:05 PM Who would you give your second place vote to? Slaton, McFadden, Quinn, Hart, Brennan, Ian Johnson, Ray Rice? Cavsfan89 12-01-2006, 05:07 PM Quinn 2nd McFadden 3rd pittman25 12-01-2006, 05:08 PM I would more and likely go with Slaton 2 and Quinn 3. LawBuckeye 12-01-2006, 05:09 PM McFadden. No doubt. JlNsAnPn 12-01-2006, 05:10 PM I hate to say it but mine would probably go to Quinn. I hate Notre Dame. I hate the way Brady Quinn handles himself. But, he has done a great job as the QB of that team. I do feel that he just throws up jump balls to some of his WRs for some of the TDs, but really he is a great QB that I think will have a pretty successful NFL career. If it weren't to go to him I would vote for Colt Brennan. I know he plays in the WAC, but if you can get the stats that he has managed to get this year, then most years you deserve the #1 Heisman vote. I know the competition in the WAC isn't exactly the greatest, but still. Here's to my first post on the new Bucknuts! SpielmanForPres 12-01-2006, 05:14 PM I'll go with McFadden, although I feel Calvin Johnson is the second best player in CFB this season. Can I do that? buckeye11111111 12-01-2006, 05:22 PM I'd go with Hart. He made a believer out of me in the Game. Groundd 12-01-2006, 05:24 PM I would go with McFadden, then Quinn, then Hart LawBuckeye 12-01-2006, 05:28 PM On another note, I really feel next year's Heisman race is going to be a great one. McFadden (frontrunner), Brennan, Slaton, P. White, Rice, J. Stewart, Hart, Lynch (if he comes back), Booty (maybe, and several dark horse candidates. I'm sure I'm forgetting a few, but even that list off the top of my head is an impressive one. buckeye99 12-01-2006, 05:28 PM Colt Brennan Dstep13 12-01-2006, 05:31 PM McFadden, he just torched that LSU defense, which is one of the best in the country. He plays a way harder schedule and actually shows up in big games! BTW, HEY everyone...This is my first post since the new site change, its going to take a while before I get used to it! MUBuck5 12-01-2006, 05:32 PM McFadden, the kid is huge in big games. LawBuckeye 12-01-2006, 05:33 PM McFadden, the kid is huge in big games. Indeed. He's the Troy Smith of Running Backs. czarbuck 12-01-2006, 05:37 PM Tough call, but I would probably go with McFadden as well and Slaton a close 3rd. usmcosufanatic 12-01-2006, 05:39 PM definitely McFadden and then Slaton Scarlet Buckeye 12-01-2006, 05:40 PM 2nd...Brady Quinn 3rd...McFadden or Slaton ebuck90 12-01-2006, 05:52 PM Quinn, then Slaton, then McFadden PIBuckeye 12-01-2006, 05:54 PM Indeed. He's the Troy Smith of Running Backs. Which team is worse out without their star? I say Arkansas, although my Heisman vote still goes to Troy, then McFadden GinnDidEverything 12-01-2006, 05:55 PM Gotta be McFadden, then Hart, then Slaton, then who cares after that. McFadden is a stud who if he started faster out of the gate may have given Troy a run for the Heisman. LawBuckeye 12-01-2006, 05:56 PM Which team is worse out without their star? I say Arkansas, although my Heisman vote still goes to Troy, then McFadden I hate to say it, but definitely Arkansas. McFadden had more passing yards than their starting QB last week against LSU for cryin out loud. USMC_Buck 12-01-2006, 06:16 PM I'd say toss up between McFadden and Colt Brennan. foobahl 12-01-2006, 06:28 PM I'd say McFadden, too. I have to admit that Hart and/or Quinn would come in next, probably Hart 3rd since he did show up for the bigger games. Slaton should still get props, too, although he was shut down a few times. I saw one guy comment that another huge game from McFadden and he might give a second thought to his first place vote for heisman. That seems a bit much.... I wonder how things would have played out if Adrian Peterson hadn't gotten hurt? Oklahoma came around in the second half of the year and I'm sure he would have done well, too. Some people thought he and Troy were about even around mid season. BuckeyeMatt67 12-01-2006, 08:11 PM McFadden, because if it wasn't for Smith he would run away with it.
