View Full Version : JT to the Browns Bucwak 12-01-2006, 07:37 PM Heard a rumor. Does anyone know for sure if JT takes the Browns offer after we win the championship when Romeo gets fired? BuckDog 12-01-2006, 07:42 PM He's Gonzo Baby!:confused :    Bucwak 12-01-2006, 07:47 PM Sad. Seems like he had quite a future with tOSU. Good luck with the Brownies, all the best! PiscesBuck 12-01-2006, 07:47 PM Not going to happpen. galliabuck 12-01-2006, 07:48 PM Sounds like a Browns fan wanting a good coach? That orginazation is so screwed up from top to bottom, why would "mr stability" Jim Tressel want to even put himself in that position? He has never even coached in the NFL,he is a college coach! Dream on! pittman25 12-01-2006, 07:50 PM I really don't see JT leaving for the NFL. I really don't see him interesdted in the NFL. Bucwak 12-01-2006, 07:51 PM Butch Davis never coached in the NFL and look where it got him. yugo52 12-01-2006, 07:53 PM JT will be here for a solid 15 more years.....you can bank on that! BuckeyeMatt67 12-01-2006, 08:01 PM JT will not be leaving for the, lol, Browns! Martin Buckeye 12-01-2006, 08:03 PM If he went to the Browns it would be a stupid move. They haven't been good for years, aren't good now, and won't be good for years to come. JT can stay at OSU and become a legendary coach or go to Cleveland and be forgotten about in a few years. The choice is his. I don't think he'll make the wrong move. Who Dey and Go Bucks!! LawBuckeye 12-01-2006, 08:07 PM End The Madness!!!!!!! buckhead 12-01-2006, 08:08 PM JT has no interest in going to any NFL team. He will stay at OSU until he punches a Clemson player. czarbuck 12-01-2006, 08:10 PM will theses rumors ever end? MyLeftBucknut 12-01-2006, 08:13 PM This is blasphemous. martori 12-01-2006, 08:13 PM I thought with the change this thread would not show up here...enough already. JlNsAnPn 12-01-2006, 08:14 PM That would be the dumbest move of JT's career. Why go to the...(excuse me I'm laughing...Browns, when you could stay at tOSU? Unless of course he made them a legitimate team, which I don't see happening for a LONG TIME I see JT as a guy who would rather mold young people's lives than go up to the huge-headed pros. Plus, how long does JT's contract go for? Heater 12-01-2006, 08:47 PM It's a possibility. He grew up a Browns fan. He's from the area. You never know. pittman25 12-01-2006, 09:21 PM Rumors on Tressial leaving for the NFL will never end I don't think. Every coach that has sucess goes threw the same rumors. asdodge 12-01-2006, 09:31 PM Hmmm, new board, same paranoia and half-baked rumors. JT is NOT going to the Browns, and Crennel, sadly, has another year to bury the Browns deeper. sng27 12-01-2006, 10:28 PM I don't think Tress is stupid enough to accept that job. The Browns are absolutely horrible as a football team and as an organization, and they aren't going to get better any time soon no matter who they hire they run that mess. That job is the kiss of death for a head coach. BuckeyeFan1253 12-01-2006, 10:35 PM Quote: That orginazation is so screwed up from top to bottom, why would "mr stability" Jim Tressel want to even put himself in that position? Simple: you can get rid of coaches, but you can't get rid of owners. If you're stuck with a bad owner, you're done. The fact is when you're a OSU coach to lose the job you either die or get fired Quote: JT is NOT going to the Browns, and Crennel, sadly, has another year to bury the Browns deeper Tress isn't leaving, and yes, it's becoming a fact that Belichick coaches aren't that good without Belichick |
