Do you think Ginn moves to corner to cover Jarrett?

Just becuase he hasnt played that position since high school, I would say no

becuase High school corner does not equal college corner...now if he spent ALL of his time in between now and the bowl game, maybe just to see how he does.

I still doubt it though like 99.9% sure it wont happen

No. Ginn is not moving to corner.

No way does Ginn move to corner... He means way too much to this offense! Smith and Jenkins will hold their own vs Jarrett and Smith.

Gee, another Ginn to corner topic. No, Ginn will not move to corner this late in year. OSU will have to make due with what they have. Personally, with rumors that Russell will be back for the bowl game and 50 days to run a second Summer Camp, I think the dbs have a lot of timeand film to look at what they have done and get better.

Hey guys... it is a new site, but most, if not all, are old posters from the old site... need we start same old threads from the old site to christen the ew site?

Considering he hasn't played in what 3 years? And that was in HS..so no. As far as I'm concerned Jenkins is the man for the job. Nobody in the country can shut DJ down but I think Jenkins can play him with the best.

Why would we move Ginn to corner when we already have a corner (Malcolm Jenkins) who is playing like an All-American?

I do think Jenkins will struggle a bit against Jarrett because I do think Jarrett is THAT good.

On gameday, Herbie said we would probably play mostly zone, because our secondary couldn't match up with the USC wide receivers. Do you think we'll do that, or mostly go man to man?

Don't we usually play more zone than man to man anyway?

Which of the two corners would you replace Ginn with. I think Smith and Jenkins have more than held their own this season.

No way we move Ginn over to defense- just won't happen this late in the year. Also, we do play mostly zone, so I don't think that it will be much of a switch for our guys- even when we blitz, we do a lot of zone blitzing.

I expect we will mix coverages. If you think back on a lot of the ints this year, many(most of the LB ints) of them have come from the qb not recognizing when we have gone to zone. They are expecting man-man coverage.

I think one of the keys to this game is how effectively we keep Booty off-balance, distracted, pressured. When he has time with his wrs, he can do damage.

How about Jarrett moving to corner to cover Ginn.

How bout Ted Ginn running right past him like he did Leon Hall...

I think zone will get us ripped apart, unless we are able to get good, solid pressure on Booty early and often.

Jarrett will get his fair share of plays. He is a very hard wr to stop. No way will Ginn be switched to cb. Our corners are fine. Thing is, the pass has to be catchable to catch and with our killer defensive line, Booty wont have much time to throw IF we end up playing USC.

I highly doubt that you will see anything too drastically far away from our usual cover 3 defense. We will get pressure on JDB with our front four. If we don't we definitely need to bring at least another rusher, because JDB will be able to find holes in the zone with time. He struggles immensely when someone is in his face.

This is all speculation, USC has its hands full with UCLA at the moment.
